9 Best Email Marketing Software Picks for Affiliate Marketers

tiktok For Business banner - AFFMaven
Best Email Marketing Software

Most email platforms will suspend your account the moment they smell affiliate links. I have seen it happen to friends, to readers of this blog, and almost to us.

So this guide is different. I went looking for the best email marketing software for affiliate marketing, media buyers, ecommerce sellers, bloggers and creators, and I ranked every tool by one thing first: will it actually let you run your business without banning you?

We run a community of 67,500+ affiliates here at AffMaven. I have spoken to industry friends at conferences, checked the legal pages of every tool on this list, dug through their pricing, and tested the platforms ourselves. These nine made the cut. Hundreds did not.

Quick answer if you are in a hurry: AWeber is our number one pick. It is dedicated to email, it welcomes affiliates, and it has native ClickBank, PayPal and WordPress integrations that most big names simply do not offer. More on that below.

Why Email Marketing Still Wins in the AI Era

Let me be honest with you before we get to the list, because this part matters more than any tool.

SEO is down for most affiliates and media buyers right now. You know it. I know it. You write the best content of your life, and Google still puts sponsored results on top, then Google Ads, then an AI Overview that answers the question without anyone clicking, and then Reddit, LinkedIn and Quora threads that you can never outrank no matter how good your page is.

Organic clicks are shrinking, and paid traffic keeps getting more expensive.

Email does not have that problem. When you send an email, there is no algorithm sitting between you and your reader. No AI Overview steals the click. No Reddit thread outranks you in someone’s inbox. You have proper data on every subscriber, and people still check email every single day.

Think about it. People were checking email 20 years ago, and they are still checking it now. Facebook reach goes up and down. Instagram changes its feed. TikTok conversion rates rise and fall with every update.

Email just keeps working. After SEO and paid ads, it is still considered the number one traffic source for affiliates, and in some niches where people actually read their emails, it beats both.

Your List Is the Only Thing You Truly Own

Here is the part that keeps me up at night. Say you build a YouTube channel for five years. Then one day you get a strike, or your account gets banned, and everything is gone. Same with a Facebook page, a TikTok account, or even a Google ranking. You built your house on rented land.

Your email list is different. It is yours. You can export it, move it to another platform, and email your people tomorrow. Nobody can take it from you. That is why every smart affiliate and media buyer I know treats their list as their backup plan and their main asset at the same time.

Where Email Prints Money for Affiliates

Email marketing is very profitable in a lot of niches. Dating, insurance, finance, fintech, SaaS tools, hosting, ecommerce, online courses, you name it. If you have loyal subscribers who trust you, your conversion rate on deals will beat anything you get from cold traffic.

And then there are the seasonal gold mines. Black Friday. Cyber Monday. Christmas. New Year sales. Valentine’s Day. Prime Day. Back to school. During these windows, one good email to a warm list can out earn a whole month of SEO traffic. We have seen it on our own newsletter. But it is not only seasonal. Product launches, lifetime deals, price increases, webinars, coupon drops. A good list converts all year round.

One more thing people forget. If your audience is a bit older, they often do not sit on Telegram, WhatsApp or social media all day. They read email. In niches like insurance, finance and health, email is not just an extra channel. It is the main one.

    Our Honest Regret 🙁

I will tell you something we do not usually admit. We ran AffMaven for years without seriously collecting emails. We never thought email could be a real revenue source, so we never worked on it.
After COVID we finally started, and the results shocked us. It was cheap, it was scalable, and the conversions were better than almost anything else we do. Our newsletter now reaches 40,000 subscribers with a 35 percent open rate, and I genuinely regret every year we wasted not building it.

Learn from our mistake. Start collecting emails today, even if your list is tiny. And do it properly: use double opt in, verify your list, clean out dead subscribers regularly, and never spam. Do that, and email becomes the most reliable channel you own.

Right. Let us get to the tools.

How We Picked These Tools

There are hundreds of email companies out there, maybe more. We did a deep check on each one with our affiliate audience in mind, gathered feedback from conferences, industry friends and our own community, and cut the list down to the nine that actually deserve your money. Here is what we judged them on.

  • Affiliate friendliness first: We read the terms of service and acceptable use policy of every single tool. Some welcome affiliates. Some tolerate them. Some ban them outright and suspend accounts without warning. This was our number one filter, because the best features in the world mean nothing if your account is gone.
  • Deliverability: An email that lands in spam earns you nothing. We checked independent inbox test results and each platform’s sender reputation.
  • Pricing value: We compared real costs at 1,000, 10,000 and 50,000 subscribers, because a tool that looks cheap at the start can get very expensive as your list grows.
  • Automation and features: Welcome sequences, segmentation, landing pages, signup forms and integrations with tools affiliates actually use, like ClickBank, PayPal, WordPress, Stripe and Shopify.

If you think we missed a tool that deserves a spot, drop a comment below. We read every one.

1. AWeber: Best Overall Email Marketing Software for Affiliates ⭐

AWeber

AWeber is the veteran of this whole industry, and it is our top pick by a clear margin. Tom Kulzer founded the company in Pennsylvania back in 1998, and he is credited with inventing the email autoresponder itself.

That is not a typo. The tool you are reading about basically created this category, and it has stayed founder owned and focused on one thing for over 25 years: email. No bloated CRM add ons, no identity crisis, no venture capital pressure. Just email done properly.

That focus is exactly why we still love it, and why it sits at number one even though newer tools have flashier designs. For affiliates, media buyers and bloggers who need a platform that will not panic when it sees an affiliate link, AWeber is the safest home we have found.

Why AWeber Is Number One for Affiliate Marketers

The big reason is simple: AWeber’s terms of service contain no ban on affiliate marketing. We checked. Their service agreement prohibits spam, purchased lists and a few shady industries, but affiliate links sent to a genuine opt in list are fine. AWeber even publishes affiliate marketing guides on its own blog. Compare that with Mailchimp, which lists affiliate marketing as a prohibited industry, and you understand why so many affiliates have quietly moved here over the years.

Then there are the integrations, and this is where AWeber quietly embarrasses the competition. It has a native ClickBank integration, which is genuinely rare. Your ClickBank buyers can be added straight to your list at the moment of purchase. It also connects natively with PayPal, WordPress, Stripe, Shopify, Canva and hundreds of other tools. If you sell or promote digital products, this saves you from paying for Zapier just to move contacts around.

AWeber Key Features

You get a drag and drop email builder, a huge template library, landing pages, signup forms, split testing, web push notifications and an AI writing assistant. Automations are called Campaigns, and they cover welcome series, follow ups and behavioural flows.

There is also a free migration service, and real human support around the clock, which is rare at this price. If you want them to do everything, the Done For You plan gets AWeber’s own team to set up your account, landing page and newsletters for you.

AWeber Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get
Free$0 forever500 subscribers, 3,000 emails/month, 1 landing page, 1 automation
LiteFrom $12.49/mo (annual)1 list, 3 landing pages, 3 automations, sends 10x your list size
PlusFrom $19.99/mo (annual)Unlimited lists, landing pages and automations, no AWeber branding
Unlimited$899/mo flatUnlimited subscribers and sends for huge lists

The free plan is free forever, not a trial, and you do not need a credit card.

  • Pros: genuinely affiliate friendly terms, native ClickBank and PayPal integrations, 25+ years of sender reputation, free forever plan, 24/7 human support, free migration.
  • Cons: some templates look dated next to Beehiiv, and the list based system feels old fashioned if you are used to tag based tools.

Our verdict: if you are an affiliate, a media buyer or a blogger and you want one email platform you can trust with your business for the next decade, start here. Try AWeber free with 500 subscribers, no credit card needed.

2. Beehiiv: Best for Newsletters That Also Bring You SEO Traffic

beehiiv

Beehiiv is the young gun of this list, and it is doing things nobody else does. It was founded in New York in 2021 by Tyler Denk, the engineer who built Morning Brew’s famous referral engine, and it has grown into the favourite platform of serious newsletter operators.

Beehiiv is not just an email tool. It is a full media business in a box: newsletter, website, referral program, paid subscriptions and even its own advertising marketplace. The company raised $33 million in funding and keeps shipping features at a silly pace. For affiliates and creators who want to build a real audience brand rather than just blast offers, Beehiiv is the most exciting platform on the market right now, and we mean that.

The Unique Bit of Beehiiv: Every Email Becomes a Web Page

Here is the feature we really want you to notice. Every newsletter you send on Beehiiv is also published as a web page on your own site or custom domain. Your emails get indexed by Google, which means your archive quietly builds SEO traffic while you sleep. You write once and get two channels: inboxes today, search traffic forever. For those of us watching organic reach shrink everywhere else, that is a serious edge, and no other tool on this list does it this well.

On top of that you get the built in referral program (the same Morning Brew style engine that made Denk famous), Boosts, which is a marketplace where you earn money recommending other newsletters, and the Beehiiv Ad Network, which connects your newsletter with brand sponsors. Beehiiv also takes 0 percent commission on paid subscriptions, and Stripe is built in for payments.

The Legal Bit for Affiliates

Now the honest part. Beehiiv’s acceptable use policy allows affiliate links, product mentions and sponsored placements, but your newsletter’s main purpose must be real editorial content. Newsletters created purely for affiliate blasting are against the rules. So write a real newsletter that people want to read, weave your offers into it, and you will be fine. Run a pure link farm and you risk suspension.

Beehiiv Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get
LaunchFreeUp to 2,500 subscribers, unlimited sends, website included
ScaleFrom $43/mo (annual)Referral program, automations, Boosts, ad network, 0% cut on paid subs
MaxFrom $96/mo (annual)Removes Beehiiv branding, up to 10 publications, priority support

That free plan is huge. 2,500 subscribers with unlimited sends beats almost everyone.

  • Pros: emails double as SEO pages, best free plan on this list, built in monetisation everywhere, modern design, referral engine included.
  • Cons: pure affiliate blasting is against the rules, and it is email newsletter focused rather than a classic autoresponder.

Our verdict: the best pick for building a newsletter brand that grows itself. Start on Beehiiv free with up to 2,500 subscribers.

3. Moosend: Cheapest Full Featured Automation

Moosend

Moosend is the tool we recommend when someone tells us they want proper marketing automation without a proper marketing budget. It started in 2011, built a loyal following as the affordable alternative to the big names, and in 2025 it was acquired by Constant Contact, which gives it serious infrastructure behind the scenes.

Clients like Domino’s and Ogilvy have used it, so this is not some hobby project. What makes Moosend special is that nothing is locked away: every paid plan includes the full feature set, from automation workflows to landing pages to transactional emails. For affiliates and media buyers who live on tight margins and want unlimited sends at the lowest possible price, Moosend is very hard to argue with.

Why Affiliates Like Moosend

Starting at $9 per month with unlimited email sends, Moosend is one of the cheapest real automation platforms anywhere. You get a visual workflow builder, cart abandonment flows, website behaviour tracking, an AI writer, landing pages and forms, all on the entry plan.

Independent inbox tests scored its deliverability at 90.1 percent, which beat many bigger names. There are around 82 native integrations, including WooCommerce, WordPress and Zapier.

The legal position: Moosend’s acceptable use policy permits occasional affiliate links that relate to your business, but prohibits emails stuffed with multiple unrelated affiliate links, and it also restricts some verticals like gambling, crypto and payday loans. Content style affiliates are fine. Link dump style affiliates are not.

Moosend Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get
Free trial30 daysFull features, up to 1,000 contacts, no credit card
ProFrom $9/moUnlimited emails, automation, landing pages, SMTP, all features
Moosend+CustomPro plus add ons like a dedicated IP
EnterpriseCustomAccount manager and deliverability help

There is no free forever plan, but annual billing drops the entry price to around $7 per month, and pay as you go credits never expire.

  • Pros: unbeatable price for full automation, unlimited sends on every plan, strong deliverability score, nothing feature gated.
  • Cons: no permanent free plan, no native ClickBank, PayPal or Shopify integrations, and restricted verticals rule out some niches.

Our verdict: the best pure value on this list. Try Moosend free for 30 days.

4. Brevo: Best Free Plan for Unlimited Contacts

Brevo

Brevo is the French heavyweight, founded in Paris in 2012 by Armand Thiberge and known as Sendinblue until its 2023 rebrand. It now serves over 600,000 users across 160 countries and reached unicorn status in 2025. Brevo’s whole model is different from everyone else here: you pay for the emails you send, not the size of your list.

You can store up to 100,000 contacts on the free plan and pay nothing until you send at scale. It has also grown into a true all in one platform with email, SMS, WhatsApp campaigns, web push and a built in CRM. For media buyers and affiliates juggling big lists across several channels, Brevo covers more ground in one login than any other tool on this list.

Why Affiliates Like Brevo

The pricing model is the killer feature. If you have a big list but email it in bursts, say around Black Friday, Cyber Monday and big launch weeks, Brevo can be dramatically cheaper than subscriber based tools. The free plan gives you 300 emails a day forever, with segmentation and the AI content generator included. Native integrations cover WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and Stripe, and there are over 150 in total.

On the legal side, Brevo’s anti spam policy contains no ban on affiliate marketing at all. Standard opt in rules apply, and a few verticals like crypto, gambling, dating and loans need vetting from their team first, which is worth knowing if you are a media buyer in those niches. Deliverability tested at a solid 88.3 percent.

Brevo Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get
Free$0300 emails/day, up to 100,000 contacts stored
StarterFrom $9/mo5,000 emails/month, no daily cap
StandardFrom $18/moAutomation, A/B testing, send time AI
ProfessionalFrom $499/moWhatsApp, contact scoring, phone support
  • Pros: unlimited contact storage, pay per send model suits burst senders, SMS and WhatsApp included, no affiliate ban, generous free plan.
  • Cons: landing pages are weak, removing Brevo branding costs extra on Starter, and sensitive niches need pre approval.

Our verdict: best free entry point and best for multichannel campaigns. Start free on Brevo with 300 emails a day.

5. EmailOctopus: Best Budget Pick for Large Lists

EmailOctopus

EmailOctopus is proof that simple wins. It was founded in London in 2015 by brothers Jonathan and Gareth Bull, it is fully bootstrapped with a small remote team, and over 100,000 users now send with it. Their motto is basically that email should be the easy bit, so they deliberately skip the bloat and sell you dependable email at the lowest sensible price.

Here is the part that matters for this article: EmailOctopus openly welcomes affiliate marketers. They have a whole page on their website celebrating their affiliate customers, which in this industry is almost shocking. If you run big lists, care about margins, and want a platform that treats affiliates as valued customers rather than a risk to be managed, this is your tool.

Why Affiliates Like EmailOctopus

The free plan is enormous: 2,500 subscribers and 10,000 emails a month, the biggest free allowance of any classic email tool on this list. Paid plans start at about $9 a month and stay cheap as you scale, with 100,000 subscribers costing around $345 a month, far below most rivals. Power users can even plug in their own Amazon SES account through EmailOctopus Connect and send at near cost prices.

Their content policy says they do not prohibit any legitimate industry as long as your list is opt in. Affiliate marketing simply gets a standard account review at the start, and then you are off. Support is quick too, with live chat responses averaging seconds rather than days.

EmailOctopus Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get
StarterFree2,500 subscribers, 10,000 emails/month
ProFrom $9/moUnlimited automations, landing pages, users and no branding
  • Pros: openly affiliate friendly, cheapest at scale, huge free plan, simple and fast to use.
  • Cons: basic automation with no open or click triggers, few native integrations so you will lean on Zapier, no AI tools.

Our verdict: the budget king for affiliates with big lists and simple needs. Grab the free EmailOctopus plan with 2,500 subscribers.

6. MailerLite: Beautiful and Easy, But Read the Rules First

MailerLite

MailerLite is the design lover’s email tool. Founded in Vilnius, Lithuania in 2010, it has grown into a remote team across 40+ countries, and it is regularly rated the easiest and cleanest email platform to use. You get a lovely drag and drop editor, a full website and blog builder, landing pages, pop ups, automation and even digital product sales powered by Stripe, all at a fair price.

Deliverability is consistently strong too, testing at 89.8 percent, among the best in independent tests. So why is it only at number six on an affiliate list? Because MailerLite has strict rules about affiliate marketing, and we would rather tell you plainly than let you find out through a suspension email. For content creators who use occasional affiliate links, though, it remains a lovely tool.

The Warning You Need to Read About MailerLite

MailerLite’s terms of service say it directly: affiliate marketing, meaning the promotion of multiple third party referral links purely to earn commissions, is strictly prohibited. Affiliate links are allowed only when they fit naturally within your own brand’s content.

Every new account also goes through manual approval before you can send, and pure affiliate senders usually get rejected at that gate. Funny enough, MailerLite runs a generous affiliate program of its own, paying 30 percent lifetime commissions. Make of that what you will.

Also worth knowing: in June 2026 MailerLite cut its free plan to 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails a month, and renamed its paid plans to Comfort and Power.

MailerLite Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get
Free$0250 subscribers, 2,500 emails/month
ComfortFrom $12/mo50 automations, 10 landing pages, email support
PowerFrom $25/moUnlimited emails, automations and pages, 24/7 chat
  • Pros: best in class ease of use, strong deliverability, website and blog builder included, unlimited emails on Power.
  • Cons: pure affiliate marketing is banned, manual approval gate, free plan recently shrank.

Our verdict: great for bloggers and creators with occasional affiliate links, wrong for affiliate first businesses. See MailerLite plans here.

7. Mailchimp: The Big Name That Does Not Want Affiliates

Mailchimp

You knew Mailchimp would be on this list, because it is the most famous email tool on the planet. Founded in Atlanta in 2001 by Ben Chestnut and friends, it grew bootstrapped for 20 years before Intuit bought it in 2021 for around 12 billion dollars. Today it is a polished, AI powered marketing suite tied into the QuickBooks ecosystem, with over 300 integrations and some of the smartest automation and predictive tools in the business.

And yet we are telling most of our readers not to use it. Why? Because Mailchimp’s own rules make it one of the riskiest homes for an affiliate business, and we have heard too many suspension stories over the years to stay quiet about it. Here is the truth that most listicles skip.

Why Affiliates Should Be Careful

Mailchimp’s acceptable use policy lists affiliate marketing among the industries it may not allow. Their help pages then clarify that affiliate links are permitted, as long as they do not point to denylisted URLs, but affiliate marketing as a business is not.

That thin line is exactly where accounts get suspended, often mid campaign, often without much warning. If your emails are mostly offers and commission links, you are on borrowed time. There is no native ClickBank integration either.

To be fair: if you run a normal business newsletter with the odd affiliate link, Mailchimp works, deliverability tested fine at 89.5 percent, and the free tools are decent. But there are eight better homes for an affiliate on this page.

Mailchimp Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get
Free$0250 contacts, 500 emails/month
EssentialsFrom $13/moA/B testing, basic automation
StandardFrom $20/moFull journey builder, 200 automation flows
PremiumFrom $350/moUnlimited seats, phone support
  • Pros: huge brand and template ecosystem, excellent AI features, 300+ integrations, QuickBooks connection.
  • Cons: affiliate marketing is effectively prohibited, suspension risk is real, free plan is now tiny, gets pricey fast.

Our verdict: fine for a business newsletter, risky for affiliates. We include it so you know exactly why we would pick AWeber instead.

8. Omnisend: Best for Ecommerce and Dropshipping

Omnisend

Omnisend is the specialist of this list. It started in Vilnius in 2014 as Soundest, rebranded in 2017, and grew into one of the top marketing apps in the Shopify ecosystem, all without taking a cent of venture capital. Over 100,000 stores use it. Omnisend does one job brilliantly: marketing automation for online shops.

Email, SMS and web push all live in a single automation workflow, so your abandoned cart flow can email a shopper, then nudge them with a push notification, then send a text, automatically. If you run dropshipping stores, Shopify brands or WooCommerce sites, or you are a media buyer pushing traffic to your own store, this is the tool built exactly for you, and its terms contain no ban on affiliate links either.

Why Store Owners Love Omnisend

The prebuilt flows are the star: abandoned cart, browse abandonment, welcome, post purchase, all ready to switch on. Product picker blocks pull items straight from your store into emails, discount code blocks generate coupons, and revenue reporting shows exactly which channel made you money.

Every feature is unlocked on the free plan, including 24/7 live support, which is almost unheard of. Native integrations cover Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, BigCommerce, Wix and more than 200 others.

Two honest notes. First, deliverability tested at 75.1 percent, the weakest score on this list, though store connected senders with clean lists generally do fine. Second, this is a store first tool: without a connected shop you lose much of its magic, so pure content affiliates should look at AWeber or Beehiiv instead.

Omnisend Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get
Free$0250 contacts, 500 emails/month, all features
StandardFrom $16/mo6,000 emails/month, no branding
ProFrom $59/moUnlimited emails, AI personalisation, unlimited push
  • Pros: built for ecommerce, email plus SMS plus push in one flow, all features free to start, no affiliate ban, bootstrapped and independent.
  • Cons: weakest tested deliverability here, needs a connected store to shine, SMS costs extra.

Our verdict: the obvious pick for dropshippers and store owners. Try Omnisend free, every feature included.

9. Constant Contact: The Safe Veteran for Events and Older Audiences

Constant Contact has been doing this longer than almost anyone, since 1995, back when most of us did not even have an email address. Based in Massachusetts and now backed by Clearlake Capital, it has spent three decades serving small businesses and nonprofits, and in 2025 it even acquired Moosend from this very list. Its superpower is trust and simplicity.

Deliverability tested at 91.7 percent, the best score of any tool here, thanks partly to strict content policing that keeps its sending reputation spotless. It also has the best event tools of any email platform, with registrations and RSVPs built in. If your audience skews older, or you run webinars, meetups and local events alongside your offers, this veteran deserves your shortlist.

Why Constant Contact Made Our List

That 91.7 percent inbox rate is worth repeating, because deliverability is money. Constant Contact’s prohibited content policy does not mention affiliate marketing at all, so ordinary affiliate promotions are fine, though note that cryptocurrency content is banned, which matters if you are in that niche.

You also get an AI campaign builder that creates a full multichannel campaign from a single prompt, social posting tools, surveys and over 300 integrations. The 60 day free trial is the longest in the industry, so you can test it properly before paying.

The downsides are predictable for a veteran: it is not the cheapest as your list grows, automation is more limited than Moosend or Brevo, and there is no free forever plan.

Constant Contact Pricing 2026

PlanPriceWhat You Get

LiteFrom $12/moBasic sending, 1 automation template
StandardFrom $35/moMore automation, 10 segments
PremiumFrom $80/moUnlimited segments, 500 SMS, dynamic content
  • Pros: best deliverability on this list, 30 years of trust, event tools nobody else matches, no affiliate ban, 60 day trial.
  • Cons: no free plan, automation is basic, price climbs quickly, crypto niche banned.

Our verdict: the safe pair of hands, especially for events and older audiences. Take the 60 day Constant Contact trial here.

Final Thoughts

SEO will keep getting harder. Ad costs will keep rising. AI Overviews are not going away. But your email list will still be yours next year, and the year after that.

We waited far too long to take email seriously at AffMaven, and it is the single biggest regret of our journey. Do not repeat our mistake. Pick a tool today, put a signup form on everything you own, double opt in your subscribers, treat them well, and by the time Black Friday comes around you will have an asset nobody can take away from you.

Our pick, once again, is AWeber. It has been doing email, and only email, since 1998, it welcomes affiliates, and you can start free with up to 500 subscribers, no credit card needed.
